Stephen’s expertise is in complex property settlement cases, involving intricate financial structures, valuation and business issues and high net worth individuals. His expertise also extends to child related matters, involving parenting arrangements, child support, recovery and relocation, international and Hague Convention issues.

In addition, Stephen has substantial expertise in wills, probate, family provision and estate matters and combines technical prowess with a multi-disciplinary background to provide clients with private advisory services and bespoke legal advice.

Stephen is an experienced litigator and regularly appears in property settlement, spouse maintenance, child support and parenting matters in the Federal Circuit & Family Court of Australia and family provision, probate and estate matters in the Supreme Court of New South Wales. 

Stephen is an Accredited Collaborative Professional and encourages his clients to reach agreement by adopting less adversarial methods, including by way of settlement conferences, collaboration, mediation and arbitration.

Stephen is a member of the Law Society of NSW, the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia and Collaborative Professionals NSW.

Marc graduated from the University of New England in 2009 with a Bachelor of Laws / Bachelor of Arts (Communication Studies) and was admitted as a Solicitor in 2010. Marc obtained Specialist Accreditation in Family Law through the NSW Law Society in 2018. Marc is also a NMAS Accredited Mediator.

Since his admission, Marc has practiced almost exclusively in areas of private law, including family law, criminal law and conveyancing. Marc makes regular appearances in the Federal Circuit & Family Court of Australia and the Local, District and Supreme Courts of New South Wales. Marc has significant experience in all types of family law matters, including divorce, property and financial matters, parenting matters, spouse maintenance applications and child support issues, along with applications for apprehended domestic violence orders and domestic violence related criminal matters. In relation to criminal matters, Marc acts in relation to all types of criminal offences, appearing on behalf of clients in less serious, summary offences in the Local Court of New South Wales and the District Court of Australia and briefing junior and senior counsel in more serious indictable offences before the Supreme Court of New South Wales.

Marc is a dedicated and highly experienced advocate with a passion for getting results for his clients, both inside and outside the Courtroom. Marc prides himself on providing clear advice and strategies to ensure clients feel secure and confident while navigating serious and difficult legal issues and processes.

Marc is also passionate about mentoring younger solicitors, graduates and university students, passing on his experience to others and dedicating time to providing advice and assisting others in achieving their personal, academic and career goals. He has hosted several seminars for junior lawyers, law clerks and paralegals. Marc also presents seminars to other professional and community groups in relation to general family law matters.
