We represent clients in all types of criminal matters, including summary matters before the Local Court of NSW such as drug possession, common assault, drink driving or driving whilst under the influence of drugs or more serious indictable offences before the District Court of NSW and Supreme Court of NSW, including commercial drug importation and/or supply, more serious assaults, sexual assault, fraud and other serious offences. 

We represent clients in defending criminal matters and/or upon a plea or finding of guilt, ensure appropriate submissions are made to ensure leniency from the Court upon sentencing.

We represent clients in relation to all Apprehended Violence Orders, including Apprehended Domestic Violence Orders and Apprehended Personal Violence Orders. 

An Apprehended Violence Order (AVO) is a court order made against a person to protect a ‘person in need of protection’ (‘PINOP’) from violence, harassment, intimidation or stalking. 

AVOs may be made upon Application by the PINOP or by Police when they are concerned about the welfare or safety of a PINOP (even if the PINOP does not want an AVO to be issued). 

Because an AVO is not a criminal conviction, it will not appear on a person’s criminal record. However, it can still have a significant impact on the personal and professional life of the person whom the AVO is made against. For example, an AVO can place restrictions on whom the Defendant can communicate with, live with, contact and be around while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. An outstanding AVO may also appear on a ‘background check’ conducted by many employers. 

We represent clients in all types of traffic matters, including simple speeding or other fines, licence suspensions and negligent, reckless or dangerous driving. 

We acknowledge the importance of holding a valid drivers’ licence for both personal and professional reasons and represent clients diligently to achieve the best available outcome in their traffic matters.
